Counselor

Melissa Reaux Dismukes

LPC-Associate · Supervised by Zamaria Venzant LPC-S

Melissa works with women navigating the changes of midlife, including perimenopause and the empty nest, who feel anxious, overwhelmed, and increasingly disconnected from themselves. Her approach is holistic, somatic, and trauma-informed, working with the nervous system and body alongside the mind, and she also supports neurodivergent adults and couples caught in painful communication patterns. She incorporates EMDR to help clients reprocess trauma and build a stronger sense of self, moving past survival mode into a life that feels more authentic and connected.
