Starting counseling doesn’t have to feel complicated. We’ve created a process that’s clear, supportive, and designed to help you build momentum from the very beginning.

Getting started begins with booking your first bundle of sessions.

Choosing a bundle signals that you’re ready to give yourself (or your loved one) the consistency that real change requires.

Prepare for Your Session

After you book, you’ll receive intake forms by email. If you’re scheduling for yourself, a child, or someone else, our team will make sure you receive the correct forms.

These forms help your counselor understand what’s bringing you in. There’s no pressure to explain everything perfectly; this is simply a starting point.

Step 3

Slow Down and Talk It Through

Your first appointment is a 90-minute assessment.

This session gives you space to slow down and talk through what’s been weighing on you. If you’re unsure where to start, your counselor will guide the conversation and help make sense of what you’re experiencing.

Step 4

Experience the Shift

As therapy continues, change begins to take shape over time.

You start to understand yourself more clearly. Patterns become easier to recognize. Decisions feel steadier. You begin responding in ways that better align with what matters most to you.

Do you offer individual sessions?

Yes. We offer individual counseling sessions for adults, teens, and children, as well as couples and family counseling.

Many first-time clients choose to begin with a bundle because it provides consistency and support during the early stages of therapy, when things often feel the most overwhelming or unclear.

Starting with a bundle allows you to settle in, develop trust with your counselor, and work through concerns without feeling rushed or unsure about what comes next. For many people, this creates a steadier and more supportive experience from the beginning.

Our current rates are:

Individual counseling (adults, teens, play therapy)
$150 per session
$125 per session when purchased as a bundle of three

Couples and family counseling
$200 per session
$150 per session when purchased as a bundle of three

We are a cash-pay practice and do not bill insurance directly.

Yes. We accept FSA and HSA payments.

We can provide a detailed receipt, often called a superbill, which you may submit to your insurance company for possible out-of-network reimbursement. Coverage varies by plan.

Your first appointment is a 90-minute assessment.
Ongoing sessions are typically 45 minutes to an hour.

Most clients meet weekly, especially at the beginning, though scheduling can be adjusted based on your needs and goals.

That’s completely okay. Whether you’re scheduling for yourself, a child, or another loved one, our team will make sure you receive the appropriate intake forms and support.

Your comfort matters. If at any point something doesn’t feel like the right fit, we’ll help you make a change without judgment or pressure.

All sessions are prepaid. This allows us to reserve time intentionally and focus fully on providing consistent, thoughtful care.
